To the details folks.

Regardless of what you are doing - building a new product, launching a new brand, pushing out a new ad campaign, etc. - the details matter.
Some people say don't sweat the small stuff. The small stuff does count. Plain and simple.
This is great example of why you should never hinder your creativity. You never know what you will find or create.

You see, I told you the Perm was back. Second post, second day back. I am butter (on a roll).
Saw a bit this morning on the Today Show and I just needed to post. In case you did not see the piece here
is the gist. Designer Marc Ecko bid just over 720k this past week for the rights to own Barry Bonds' 756 home run ball. Big deal right, well, he has decided to turn the ball over to the people. Yep we have a say in this one folks.
You have three voting options - okay where is the open-ended one. Your options - 1) Bestow it - send it to Cooperstown or 2) Brand it - with an asterisk and send back to Cooperstown or 3) Banish it - put it in a rocket and blast it to kingdom come.
Gang, I do not consider myself a huge baseball fan. I will go to the occasional game now that baseball is back in DC. But as you may already know, I am a HUGE college basketball fan (Go Heels) and a HUUUUUGE Tennis freak.
But I love this. Give the ball to the people and let them decide what to do with it. What do you think? Are you skeptical of a catch? Would you pay that much money for a ball only to turn it back over?
Gang, getting back into the swing of things. Post coming soon.
I am not a big fan of consolodation. To me it never really helps anyone except the CEO and a few large investors. More often than not the brand that got swallowed suffers.
I am a however a huge fan of Vitamin Water. I drink at least one every day. I prefer the Energy, but will
down almost any flavor. I loved the fact that it got its start by one dude who simply dropped a Vitamin C wafer into water and the light clicked.
I love their new ads with Brian Urlacher and David Ortiz:
What I hate is a large company like Coke buying them - read about it here.
So here is my plea....Coke don't F with my Vitamin Water
Don't give me a new formula and the bring it back to the Classic. Don't give me Vitamin Zero or Cherry Rassbery with a Vanilla twirl. The fact is it ain't broke, don't fix it. Enough said. Have a great weekend.
So today I decided it was time to add some new feeds to my Google Reader.
A few of these I have been readers, but not subscribers so time to pony up and join.
Blog Maverick, Reasonable Minds, Director Tom, Joe's Gardening Blog and PSFK.
I am on a roll.
First I win a free invite to FOOA. Now I win an invite to test out Joost.
Adam Schultz received 3 invites for Joost and decided to give them out through back to back contests. The first invited would be awarded to the one who could provide the best contest idea.
My contest pitch - 5 different ways of picking up a woman or a dude (depending on your tastes) using the word Joost.
Now all you Perm readers out there you have until the 25th of April at midnight to submit your 5 pick up lines using the word Joost. The winner of contest 2 also gets to decide what contest 3 will look like.
Head over here to submit. Bring your A-game, cuz I will be judging.
I will let you know about my test drive too.
